Practice Real-World Skills in Your Courses 

Throughout your curriculum, your instructors will assign hands-on coursework that may help you prioritize real-world MIS skills and experience. In past courses, students have been able to complete the following course projects: 

  • Develop a business analysis and systems recommendation report that illustrates how a local IT consulting firm can grow their business internationally. 
  • Create a complete computer workstation and network plan for a growing 3-D printer business with multiple locations that must be in communication to share design software and enterprise management information.   
  • Develop a new enterprise architecture for a local Department of Motor Vehicles.  
  • Prepare a complete project management plan for Mamma Mia’s bakery to design and install a new IT system.
