Graduates and guests can park in several large lots near the Xfinity Center. To accommodate those who have difficulty walking, we'll operate shuttles to the arena from the parking lots.
Graduates can request special-needs parking accommodations for themselves and their guests during the RSVP process. Parking spaces will be reserved in the Terrapin Trail Garage adjacent to the Xfinity Center for holders of government-issued disabled parking plates and placards, along with anyone granted a special parking accommodation. (We will mail parking passes to the graduate only.)
You should anticipate heavy traffic around the Xfinity Center, and we encourage you to carpool. We expect about 1,200 graduates and 12,000 guests to attend each ceremony.

Union Station, in northeast Washington, D.C., is the closest train station to the Xfinity Center.
The Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority operates the regional mass transit system, which includes Metrorail and Metrobus.
