If you’re a CACI employee, or the spouse or legal dependent of an employee, you can take advantage of several education benefits thanks to an alliance with University of Maryland Global Campus, a leader in online education for working adults. Save 25 percent on out-of-state tuition for most UMGC programs, get your $50 application fee waived when you apply as a new student, and take courses that align with DoD 8750 certification exams. Plus, you can contact your organization’s human resources department to find out how to apply your tuition reimbursement benefit to UMGC courses.

Tuition Discount Details

The out-of-state tuition discount applies to more than 75 degrees, certificates, and specializations at UMGC, with only a few programs excluded.* This does not apply to in-state (Maryland) residents or military servicemembers, but if you qualify for either of those categories, you will pay a lower tuition rate anyway.

DoD 8570 Certification Courses

Department of Defense Directive 8570, known as 8570 (DoD 8570) requires all DoD employees who conduct information assurance functions to carry an approved certification specific to their job classification. UMGC’s undergraduate courses in the computer networks and cybersecurityprogram are designed to help prepare students for specific DoD 8570 certification exams.
