The next Adelphi commencements will be held May 14–17, 2020.
The doctoral commencement will take place the evening of Thursday, May 14. This will be a combined hooding and conferral ceremony, followed by a reception.
Our Saturday and Sunday ceremonies will recognize graduates from the winter 2020 term, along with associate, bachelor's, and master's candidates who have applied to receive their degrees in spring 2020 (this includes master’s candidates whose final courses end June 16).
Remember: Receiving your diploma is known as graduation at UMGC. You must apply to graduate before you are eligible to walk at Adelphi 2020 Spring Commencement. Please check with your academic advisor about the graduation process to ensure that you don't miss the application deadline. This graduation to-do list is also helpful.

Eligible students (defined above) will be invited to RSVP for commencement using our online registration system. Registration for associate, bachelor's, and master's degree graduates and candidates will open in late February. Doctoral commencement registration opens in early March.
