Additional Program Information

If you have graduated from Command and General Staff Officer Course and have studied the Intermediate-Level Education Common Core Curriculum, you may be eligible to transfer 15 graduate credits toward a Master of Science in Management with a specialization in Army Operations and National Security at UMGC.

  • All coursework for the degree, including courses taken at CGSOC, must be completed within a five-year window; you must submit official transcripts from ILE for review, along with the transfer credit evaluation request form, to see if you meet the eligibility requirements.

Public Safety Student Association

The Public Safety Student Association encourages discussions on careers, current events, and topics within the public safety field. Activities have included webinars on related topics and careers. It is available to graduate or undergraduate students, alumni, staff, and faculty. Students and alumni can join the Public Safety Student Association group on CareerQuest

Student Veterans Of America (SVA), UMGC Chapter

The UMGC Chapter of SVA offers information and support on benefits, academics, and policies. It also offers online and in-person fellowship for active-duty servicemembers and veterans.
